Betty Moon shares new video for single ‘Parachute’

Canadian musician, Betty Moon, is an enigmatic force of nature. She’s a singer, songwriter, producer and filmmaker. She’s known for her deep voice and rock ‘n’ roll persona, and her music has been featured in numerous television shows and films. These include Californication, Dexter, Walking the Dead, and others.

Her debut album was released through A&M Records, and when she released her self-titled debut LP she lived and toured throughout Canada. Afterwards, she released multiple records, with two on her own label Evolver Music.

Since 2010, she has been living in Los Angeles, and has received frequent airplay in popular L.A. rock radio station KROQ. She has shared the stage with Quiet Riot and The Offspring, among others, and regularly performs at renowned venues The Roxy, Whisky a Go Go, and The Viper Room in Hollywood.

Moon recently released her eighth studio album, CHROME, released on August 25, 2017 and is available on all outlets. Her latest single from the album is “Parachute,” which Moon says is “about sanctuary. There were times I felt misunderstood, and completely let down. I felt I needed to escape my existing reality to find a new one in a completely different place. I could then actually be free to express myself in all ways emotionally and creatively.  I had to pack up and leave in order to pursue a better life.  And it was time to…. fly!”
