The Dick Wagner “Remember the Child” Memorial Concert will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Fillmore Theatre in the heart of Detroit. The “Maestro of Rock” passed away on July 30, 2014 and will be remembered by friends, family and fans at the memorial concert with proceeds going to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Wagner was a huge supporter of children’s charities and generously donated his time and talent.
Artists and sports figures have come together to donate autographed items at the memorial concert including rock icons Alice Cooper, Lita Ford, and Ted Nugent among others.
The lineup for the concert will be Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Brad Whitford (Aerosmith), Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent), Prakash John (Alice Cooper, Lou Reed), Ray Goodman (Mitch Ryder), Danny Seraphine (Chicago), Jimmie Bones (Kid Rock), Johnny (Bee) Badanjek, Drew Abbott (Bob Seger) and Wagner’s son Robert Wagner.
