Product Review: Dean Guitars MAB Signature MAB1 Armorflame Electric Guitar

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play the Dean MAB Armor Flame guitar in my recent video lessons for This guitar has a thin neck which for me is a necessity. A thin neck makes shredding easier and also makes it easy to play clean. I have always found guitars with thin necks are much more suited to women and girls; you don’t have to struggle to get your hands around a “baseball bat neck” (as I like to call guitars with wide necks).

The double cutaway is another great feature, makes it easy to reach those higher frets without moving your left hand into an awkward position. The guitar was really light which as another nice feature to consider for girls and women. The action was also low, making it easy to play. I know you can always take the guitar to your favorite store and have it set up but it is really convenient when you buy a guitar that does not need any extra work.

Sound is really important which means great pickups are essential. You can’t go wrong with EMG pickups, let alone 3 different EMGs. Whether you play metal or pop, the sound rocked!

Last, but not least, the first you notice about a guitar before even touching it, is the way it looks and the graphics on this Michael Angelo Batio signature guitar are unique and beautiful. Also, no matter what color or style you are wearing, this guitar will match your outfit!
