“I wrote ‘Backseat Falling’ with a few of my Nashville favorites, Aby Gutierrez and Clay Mills,” said Collins. “We wanted to capitalize on the feeling of nostalgia that comes with a first love. Marshall Altman did an amazing job bringing my vision for the track to life. There’s a really relatable sense of longing that was captured in the recording.”

The flirtatious track is the second single from her highly-anticipated upcoming EP. Her last single, “Who Knows Who,” premiered exclusively with Taste of Country, who called the song “catchy-as-it-can-be” and said it “captures the emotions behind the romantic games people play.” The project was produced by Marshall Altman (Natasha Bedingfield, Amy Grant, Eric Paslay, Frankie Ballard) and is slated for an October 12 release.

The Milwaukee native has already accrued an astounding number of notable fans, with a list of various supporters from famed critic Robert K. Oermann to fellow female artist Brandy Clark. Collins averages around 200 performances each year, including sharing the stage with industry heavyweights Maren Morris, Michael Ray, Jon Pardi and more.

Nora Collins brings her own form of bold originality to country music – a style she describes as “fun, flirty, relatable and honest.” The self-taught, self-made Milwaukee native moved to Nashville in April 2016 after landing a publishing and artist development deal with MV2 Entertainment. She released a five-song EP in 2016, followed by a Christmas project in 2017. Her dynamic music has already gained the attention of CMTRadio DisneyTaste of Country and the iconic music festival Summerfest in Milwaukee. Collins is currently working on new music with accomplished producer Marshall Altman (Natasha Bedingfield, Amy Grant, Frankie Ballard, Eric Paslay) and recently signed with William Morris Endeavor for exclusive booking representation.
